Privacy

The site sets no cookies, and the numbers you type stay on your device.

What your device stores

Your browser stores three settings in local storage: how many questions there are (cfg.q), which letter scale you use (cfg.scale) and if wrong or right answers get counted (cfg.mode). This makes the calculator ready next time. None of them is ever sent.

What gets counted by the site

The site checks if it is useful by sending a short note to its own server. The note is anonymous. Notes go out when a page opens, if you stay on a page for a while, when you first use the calculator and when you click a link to another site. It records the page address, the kind of event and the screen type, whether a phone or a computer. It also gives the name of the site you arrived from. It includes no grades and none of the numbers you typed. Nothing in it identifies you.

Nothing gets sold or shared

The site neither sells nor shares anything with advertisers or anyone else. The site doesn't use any third-party scripts.

Your privacy choices

If you turn on Global Privacy Control, or turn on Do Not Track, in your browser, the site won't count anything at all. To remove the saved settings, go to your browser settings and clear this site’s data.
